Could you benefit from a Teams Room?

Atmosphere IT has recently installed a Teams Room system for a London based client who required a hassle-free solution which integrated seamlessly into their existing meeting room layout. Over the last few years Teams has become a core part of day-to-day business for many people, whether they are working from home or in the office. Having a dedicated Microsoft Teams based conferencing system empowers users to communicate internally with their colleagues and externally with customers and suppliers with ease.

The wide angle ultra-high definition 4K camera can pan, tilt, and zoom to get the perfect view of the participants. Its handy remote allows you to make adjustments from the meeting room table and save pre-set angles. Once you are finished the camera swivels away to keep itself dust free so that it is in perfect condition for the next meeting. This also gives you visual assurance that the camera is not on if you do not want it to be. Due to its flexible design the camera can be mounted in multiple orientations, for this client it was most suitable to have it mounted above the screen, but it is equally at home mounted below the screen or placed on a table.

Depending on the size of the room the configuration can be scaled, ensuring that everyone can contribute clearly. The microphone pods are dynamically tuned to filter out any background noise and utilize multiple discrete microphones to pick up voices from any direction. They even have an easily accessible mute button which you can press at any time if you need a moment of privacy. Additional Microphone pods can be added to suit your room size, a great option for long board rooms.

High-performance purpose-built speakers are designed to provide loud and clear room filling sound. Combined with the microphone pods the system automatically filters out any reverberation allowing a two-way conversation to happen effortlessly.

At the heart of a Microsoft Teams Room is the touch interface. This tablet sized controller shows upcoming meetings which you can join with one touch, alternatively you can start an ad-hoc meeting by just inviting participants. This can be placed on the meeting room table or mounted to a wall if you are short on space. If you want to share content from your laptop it is as simple as plugging in the HDMI cable which will then automatically display anything on your screen.

No matter the size of the room we can provide and install the appropriate solution to suit your needs.
